For my Ma, Love you

The day I opened my eyes
The room filled with my loud cries
Ma, you held me tight
And removed all my fright.

I don’t know how u felt holding me
But I can tell how u made me feel
Coz ma today also I feel the same in your arms
The way I felt when I was your baby.

I might have given u many sleepless nights
U getting up on my every cry.
Changing my nappies in midnight
U might have kept me dry n slept on the wet bed.

I don’t know how u felt when I first called u ma
Or my first step that u saw.
I don’t know what happiness I gave you,
but ma, I m so thankful to have you.

You knew when I was hungry
You knew what to do when I cranky
I might have been loved by many, when I was a baby
But it was you who could find me in the crowd blindly.

You secured me from all the darkness
With my faults also, you made me so precious.
You gave me your bite even when u were hungry
You held me even if your arms ached badly.

You were there to cheer me
Even when I was last in the race
U held my hand and never let me feel abase.
U showed everyone my first painting with pride,
And even decorated it near your bedside.

You let me grew as a girl
You became my guide my inspiration.
Holding me in ure arms
You must have treasured a dream
But you never told me
Coz u always wanted me to be whatever I wanted to be


Ma I m thankful to god that he gave me you
You and your love is the only thing that is unconditionally true.
I don’t know how to tell you what you are.
But, something deep from my heart
MA, I LOVE YOU.
